Suggestions about how to handle anxiety

Anything to suggest if you start feeling the anxiety aside from the normal breath in and out exercise?

  • Self affirmation words
  • Sometimes I avoid people, go to silent place & listen to prayer if you are religious person

Sing, dance, listen to music, have your fav healthy snack, talk with someone you love, take a walk in nature, call the Mind You Helpline, try a session with Mind You Psychologist… :strawberry: :strawberry: :strawberry: :strawberry: :strawberry:

Try this exercise: Write down all your anxieties on a mirror using lipstick. Take a moment to look at yourself with these words surrounding you. Notice how cluttered and messy it feels? Reflect on this. Then, erase the writings and look at yourself again. See how clean and clear the reflection is now?

Remember: You are not defined by what others say about you. You are not the negative thoughts people might have about you. You are not the unrealistic standards we see on social media - those perfect bodies, faces, and seemingly “problemless” lives.

What you see in the mirror is you. Embrace who you are. Stop undermining yourself and start appreciating yourself more.

I write down my thoughts. I wouldn’t care if my ideas are so messy like the mother of all messes.
Then, I try to arrange my thoughts after a light warm meal. Very important not to be hungry and not to eat cold meals.
