If you will study data in the workplace, would you go more for quantitative, qualitative or mixed methodology?

In doing research nowadays, you may notice that the methodology used can be now not only purely quantitative or qualitative but can be also mixed methodology.. Data can also be quantitative, qualitative or combined. Which would you go for in analyzing data and in coming up with results? What comes to mind, when you hear the word “statistics” and or like how do you feel about it? (Science would tell us that even our feelings/emotions stem from our brain)
